They upload over an encrypted connection. 2. **Pick a quality or a target size** Use the quality slider, or tell it exactly how many KB or MB you need. 3. **Download** Save each file, or grab them all at once as a ZIP. A logo in the corner tells everyone where a photo came from: a shop's product pictures, an estate agent's listings, a photographer's proofs, a school's event photos. It is also the simplest protection against your pictures being reposted as someone else's. Open the watermark settings, choose your logo file and pick where it goes: any corner, an edge, the centre, or repeated across the whole picture. Set its size as a share of the photo's width and its opacity, and it is placed the same way on every image you add, whatever their size. Using your own logo file is part of Pro. On a free account the same settings place a text watermark instead, such as your name or website, which is often enough for a first try. ## Preparing the logo A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result, because only the logo itself is drawn on the photo. A logo on a white square will show that square on every picture. If yours has a solid background, the logo background remover page can make it transparent first. A light version of the logo shows best on dark photos and a dark one on light photos; for mixed sets, a soft white logo at about half opacity is a safe choice. ## Placement that works The bottom right corner is the convention and the least distracting. A centred or tiled logo is harder to crop out and suits proofs that must not be used without payment. Keep the size modest, about a fifth of the width, so the photo stays the subject. ## Whole batches Add all your photos at once and each gets the logo at the same relative size and position, so portrait and landscape pictures match. Download them together in one ZIP. ## Keep your originals The logo is drawn into the pixels and cannot be lifted off again, so keep the unmarked files. Your pictures and logo are processed on our server and deleted once the results are ready. ## Text instead of a logo If you have no logo file yet, type your name, shop or web address as the watermark. It uses the same positions, size and opacity controls, and it is free. ## Logos on product photos Shops and marketplaces sometimes forbid watermarks on the main product picture and allow them on the rest. Check the rules of the place you sell on, and keep a clean copy of each photo for listings that need one. ## Size and file type The marked photos keep their format and pixel size unless you change them in the same panel, so you can add the logo and shrink the files for the web in one pass. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is adding a logo free?
