They upload over an encrypted connection. 2. **Pick a quality or a target size** Use the quality slider, or tell it exactly how many KB or MB you need. 3. **Download** Save each file, or grab them all at once as a ZIP. The Bihar Public Service Commission's online application has a photo and signature step in which your photo is taken live by webcam. After it, you upload two signatures, one written in English and one in Hindi. Each signature file must be no larger than 20 kilobytes, between 150 and 220 pixels wide and between 250 and 320 pixels tall. Add a picture of each signature in its own slot. Each is cleaned to dark ink on white, trimmed to the strokes and fitted into 200 by 280 pixels, inside both pixel ranges, then saved well under 20 KB. Download them one at a time or together in one ZIP. The rule is in Step 6 of the online application instructions in BPSC Advertisement No. 87/2025, a scanned Hindi page read by eye, linked with the day it was read. The exact 200 by 280 inside the ranges is our choice. Pictures you add are processed on our server and deleted once the two files exist. ## Two signatures Write your signature once in English, in the Roman alphabet, and once in Hindi, in Devanagari, on white paper with a dark pen. Photograph each separately or crop them apart, so each slot gets one signature only. Sign both the way you will at the exam; the English and Hindi signatures are each checked against your papers later. ## An upright box Unusually, the box is taller than it is wide. A wide signature is shrunk to fit the 200-pixel width and centred on white, with space above and below; that is what the portal expects. If yours is very long, sign a little more compactly. Both signature files come out at the same size, so the English and the Hindi one look alike on your application form and admit card. ## The live photo You do not send the photograph as a file: the portal captures it through your webcam in the same step. Sit facing the camera in good light against a plain wall, with nothing covering your face. This page makes only the two signature files. ## Older rules A Commission FAQ from 2022 gives an uploaded photo of 250 by 250 pixels and a 220 by 100 signature. The 2025 advertisement read here replaces that with the live photo and the two signatures, so follow the advertisement you apply to. ## Before you lock the profile At the end of the step you tick a box confirming that all the details are correct, then submit and lock the profile. Check both signatures in the preview first, because a locked profile is not changed easily. ## Frequently asked questions ### Why two signatures?
