# Resize your photo and signature for BPSC

Get the 300 × 300 photo and the 300 × 80 signature the Bangladesh Public Service Commission's Teletalk portal asks for.

## How it works

1. **Add your images** Drag and drop, paste, or pick files. They upload over an encrypted connection.
2. **Pick a quality or a target size** Use the quality slider, or tell it exactly how many KB or MB you need.
3. **Download** Save each file, or grab them all at once as a ZIP.

Applications to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, for the BCS and its other recruitments, go through the Teletalk portal, which checks two files strictly: a colour photo of exactly 300 by 300 pixels under 100 kilobytes, and a signature of exactly 300 by 80 pixels no larger than 60 kilobytes. A file even a few pixels off is refused by the portal's validator.

Add your photo and frame your head and shoulders in the square; it comes out at 300 by 300 pixels and under the limit. Add a photo of your signature and it is cleaned to black ink on white, cropped close and fitted into 300 by 80 pixels. Each slot shows a tick when its file is right, and both download together.

The numbers come from the Commission's help page on the Teletalk portal, linked with the date it was read. Your pictures are processed on our server and deleted once the files are made.

## The photograph

The help page asks for a colour photo; black and white or greyscale is not accepted. Use a recent photo with your face clearly lit, looking at the camera, against a plain background. The square crop leaves room for the shoulders; keep your head in the middle of the frame.

If your background is not plain, take the photo against a light wall or a hung sheet rather than editing it afterwards.

## The signature

Sign with a black ink pen on white paper, in your usual way; the help page says the signature must be the applicant's own. A wide, low signature suits the 300 by 80 shape best. The signature is also checked against the admit card and the attendance sheet at the exam, so sign the same way each time.

Sign a few times on the sheet and photograph the best one, cropping the others out of the frame.

## Checking before upload

The Teletalk portal offers its own validator for photo and signature. Run the downloaded files through it before you start the application; files made here are already at the exact pixel sizes it checks.

## Keep the files

Keep both files for later stages of the same exam and for other BPSC applications with the same rules, so your photo and signature stay the same throughout.

Name them clearly, for example with the exam and year, so you upload the right pair next time.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is the 300 × 300 size strict?

Yes. The help page gives exact dimensions, and the files here are made at exactly those pixels.

### Can the photo be black and white?

No. The help page asks for a colour photo.

### Does this work for BCS?

BCS applications use the same BPSC Teletalk portal; check your own circular in case it differs.

### Are my files stored?

No. Both are made on our server and wiped from it once the ZIP is ready.

### What if a file shows a warning?

It could not be brought under the limit. Retake the picture in daylight and try again.

### Why does the portal reject my photo when it looks fine?

Usually because its pixels are not exactly 300 by 300 or the file is over 100 KB; the files here meet both.

### Can I use a photo taken for a passport?

Yes, if it is recent and in colour; it is cropped to the square and resized here.
