They upload over an encrypted connection. 2. **Pick a quality or a target size** Use the quality slider, or tell it exactly how many KB or MB you need. 3. **Download** Save each file, or grab them all at once as a ZIP. Before and after shots, two versions of a design, a product next to its packaging, a set of screenshots for a comparison: many things are easier to see side by side than one after another. This page puts your pictures in one row, scaled to a common height, so each keeps its own shape and nothing is trimmed away, unlike a grid collage, which fills equal cells. Add the pictures, put them in the order you want with the arrows, choose the space between them, and combine. The height is the smallest picture's, so nothing is blown up past its own detail. PNG keeps screenshots and graphics pixel-perfect; JPG makes photos much smaller. Up to ten pictures can be combined. They are processed on our server and deleted as soon as the result is made. ## Before and after For a fair comparison, take both pictures from the same spot and at the same size, then place the before on the left and the after on the right, the order most people read. A thin gap in white or a dark colour makes the split obvious without a drawn line. The same layout suits two versions of a logo, a photo edited two ways, or the same room at day and night. ## Combining pictures of different shapes Because every picture is scaled to the same height, a wide one takes more room in the row than a tall one. That is usually what you want. If you need equal boxes instead, use the collage maker's row layout, which fits each picture into a cell of the same size. ## Stacking instead Switch the direction to stacked to put the pictures one above the other at a common width. That is the way to join the parts of a long screenshot, and there is a page set up for it. Finally, open the result at full size and check that the edges line up and the gaps are even. ## Using combined pictures A single combined picture is easier to post than several: one image in a social post or a chat keeps the comparison together, and the people you send it to see both halves at once rather than swiping. In documents and slides, one picture is also simpler to place and resize than a row of separate ones that drift apart. For printing, choose JPG at the default quality for photos, or PNG for screenshots, diagrams and anything with text, which JPG would blur slightly. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is anything cropped?
