How it works
Add your images
Drag and drop, paste, or pick files. They upload over an encrypted connection.
Pick a quality or a target size
Use the quality slider, or tell it exactly how many KB or MB you need.
Download
Save each file, or grab them all at once as a ZIP.
Pictures that belong together rarely arrive in one format. The iPhone photos are HEIC, the screenshots are PNG, the scan is a TIFF and the picture someone forwarded is a WebP. This page takes them as they are. Add everything in one go, and each image becomes a page of the same PDF, with no converting beforehand.
More than a hundred formats are read, the same list as on our formats page. Whatever a picture started as, its page is prepared on our servers as a JPEG at quality 85 and placed on the paper size you choose. Order the pages with the arrows beside each name before you download.
Free use covers twenty images a document, each up to 20 MB; Pro covers 500 at up to 200 MB, and adds camera RAW files. Uploads are encrypted, handled on our own servers and removed within one hour.
Give single pages their own treatment
A mixed set seldom wants one setting for all. One photo was taken sideways. One screenshot has a toolbar worth cutting off. One scan is so large that it would dominate the file. Select the image, switch on Only this image, and whatever you change next, rotation, crop, size or quality, applies to that page alone, while the others keep the shared settings.
Sideways pages are the commonest case. Phone photos of documents often carry a rotation note that some programs ignore. Here the note is applied before the page is made, so pages that looked upright in your gallery are upright in the PDF, and the rotate buttons are there for those that were truly taken wrong.
Formats with more than one picture inside
Some files hold several images: an animated GIF, a TIFF with many pages, a PDF. Each file you add becomes exactly one page here. For an animation or a multi-page TIFF that is the first frame or page. For a PDF and similar document formats, a page number appears in the editor so you can choose which page is used. To include three pages of the same file, add it three times and, with Only this image switched on, pick a different page for each.
Transparent pictures are placed on white, or on the colour you set, because the pages of the PDF are opaque.
What this PDF is, and what it is not
It is a document of pictures: dependable, small if you resize sensibly, and readable on any device. It is not a text document. Nothing in it can be selected or searched, links are not clickable, and assistive software has nothing to read aloud. For an official upload that asks for a searchable or accessible PDF, a picture PDF may be refused, and the right tool is a scanner app or office program that adds a text layer.
It is also not a container that keeps your original files. The HEIC or the TIFF does not travel inside the PDF; a JPEG rendering of it does. Keep the originals if you may need them again.
Frequently asked questions
Can I mix different formats in one PDF?
Yes. Add HEIC, JPG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, BMP and the others together. Each becomes a page, whatever it started as.
Do iPhone photos need converting first?
No. HEIC files are read directly, with their rotation applied.
How do I rotate one page only?
Select that image, switch on Only this image and use the rotate buttons. The other pages are not affected.
How large will the PDF be?
About the sum of its pages. With Resize set to 1600 pixels on the long side, a page is typically 300 to 500 KB, so twenty pages stay under 10 MB.
Can I use camera RAW files?
On the Pro plan. Each RAW file is developed first and its picture becomes a page.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Open the page in the phone's browser, choose the pictures from the gallery, arrange them and download the PDF.
