# Convert JPG to a PDF under 100 KB

One PDF from your pictures, under 100 KB in total, the most common limit on job, admission and scholarship portals.

## How it works

1. **Add your images** Drag and drop, paste, or pick files. They upload over an encrypted connection.
2. **Pick a quality or a target size** Use the quality slider, or tell it exactly how many KB or MB you need.
3. **Download** Save each file, or grab them all at once as a ZIP.

A hundred kilobytes is the limit you meet most often when a portal wants a document as a PDF: degree certificates on admission sites, experience letters on job portals, income proofs for scholarships. It is generous enough for one or two clear pages and tight enough that a raw phone photo never fits.

Put your pictures in page order and download a single PDF. The target is for the file as a whole: after a small allowance for the PDF's structure, the rest is divided between the pages, so a two-page document gets about 49 KB a page. Change the number of pages and every page is remade to fit.

Text stays readable at this size for one or two pages photographed straight on. Signatures, stamps and photographs inside the document survive well too, as long as the original picture is sharp.

## Two pages, one file

Many portals want the front and back of a certificate, or both sides of an ID card, in one upload. Add both pictures here and they become pages one and two of the same PDF, each at its own shape and centred. Drag a thumbnail to swap their order before you download.

If a portal asks for each page separately instead, download them one at a time with each picture's own download button.

## Clear pictures make small files

A page shot in daylight with the paper filling the frame needs far fewer bytes than a dark, tilted one with the tablecloth around it. Before you add a photo, crop it to the page; if the paper looks grey, the document scanner page will make it white and flat first.

## If it will not fit

When a page cannot be brought down far enough, it is marked over the limit rather than quietly left too big. The usual fixes are fewer pages in one file, a straighter photo, or a scan instead of a photo.

## Privacy

Pictures are converted on our server and deleted there straight afterwards; the PDF is assembled in your own browser from the finished pages.

## Typical 100 KB documents

Admission portals ask for degree and provisional certificates at this size, job portals for experience and relieving letters, and scholarship schemes for income and residence certificates. Most of these are one or two pages, the sweet spot for 100 KB.

Where a portal shows its limit as 100 KB, the file made here is a little under it, so it passes whichever way the portal counts a kilobyte.

## A last look

Zoom into the PDF on your phone the way a reviewer would on a laptop: the name, the date and any stamp should be readable without guessing. If they are, upload it; if not, retake the weakest page.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does each page get 100 KB?

No. The whole PDF stays under 100 KB, and the pages share it.

### How many pages can I add?

As many as you like, but beyond three or four the text gets soft at 100 KB.

### Can I change the page order?

Yes. Drag the thumbnails into the order you want.

### Will it work for a scanned certificate?

Yes. A flat, straight scan usually comes out clearer than a photo.

### Is anything stored?

No. Your pictures are removed from our server once the pages are made.

### Can I set a different limit?

Yes. Change the target in the settings; the pages adjust to it.

### What format does the PDF use inside?

Each page is a JPEG image, which is what keeps the file small.
