The Telangana Public Service Commission, called TSPSC until 2024, asks every recruitment applicant to upload a recent colour passport-size photograph and a scanned specimen signature in JPG or PNG. Its 2026 notifications set a floor as well as a ceiling: the photo between 100 and 200 kilobytes, the signature between 20 and 30 kilobytes. A small phone picture is often below the floor and is refused. Add your photo and set the crop on your head and shoulders; it is made at 3.5 by 4.5 centimetres, 413 by 531 pixels at 300 DPI, and brought inside the 100 to 200 KB range. Add a photo of your signature and it is cleaned, cropped close and fitted into 413 by 177 pixels, between 20 and 30 KB. The kilobyte limits are quoted from Notification No. 07/G/ES/2026 of 28 October 2026, linked with the day it was read. The notifications give no pixel sizes, so those are ours, marked as such on each slot. Pictures you add are made into the two files on our server and deleted once they exist. ## The photograph The notifications ask for a photo not older than three months before the last date of the application, so take a fresh one for each recruitment rather than reusing an old file. It must be in colour. Use a plain, light background, face the camera and keep your whole face and the top of your shoulders in the frame. Retake the photo in good daylight if it looks dark; a well-lit picture keeps the face clear at the large file size asked for. ## The signature Sign on white paper with a dark pen, the way you will sign the nominal roll and the OMR sheet at the exam, since the invigilator checks your identity against the signature and photo on record. The wide 3.5 by 1.5 centimetre shape used here is the one the Commission gives in its departmental-test notice. ## OTR and the application Applications start from your One Time Registration with the Commission; the photo and signature are uploaded with each application and appear on the hall ticket. If the hall ticket photo comes out too small or blurred, the notifications ask you to paste a passport photo on it, attested by a gazetted officer, so keep a few prints too. ## Keep the files Save both downloads with the notification number in the name. A later recruitment within three months can use the same photo; after that, make a new one. ## Frequently asked questions ### Why must the photo be at least 100 KB? The notifications set 100 KB as the minimum; the file made here is padded up to it when needed. ### Is TSPSC the same as TGPSC? Yes. The Telangana State Public Service Commission was renamed the Telangana Public Service Commission in 2024. ### What pixel size does TGPSC want? The notifications give only file sizes; the 3.5 × 4.5 cm photo at 300 DPI used here is our choice. ### Are my pictures saved anywhere? No. Your files are made on our server and erased from it as soon as they are ready. ### Can I upload PNG instead of JPG? The notifications accept both; the files made here are JPG. ### How old can my photo be? No older than three months before the last date of the application. ### Does this work for Group 1, 2, 3 and 4?
